So, a lot has happened since I last posted...which is WHY it's taken me so long. In that time I have left for, moved into, and acclimated to college. To everyone who's worried about college who isn't there yet, it's no harder than high school. Sure there are some really difficult parts, but no matter what, I've always had worse. The workload is simply more abstract and free form, which suits my learning style. I'm a computer science major, and in my two months here I already understand everything that ever confused me about programming.

Actually, it's not the work that's the big distraction. It's the people, and in a good way. I was really afraid of not being able to find my niche (I really can't stand "normal" people), but somehow I found it within about a week of being here. I already have more friends here than I had back in high school, but it's going to take some time for them to know me a little bit better. Conveniently, most of my best friends here are in my wing of my floor of my hall...literally a few steps away. This can be good and bad, but having your best friends so close by all the time is a luxury scarcely found elsewhere in life.

No complaint about my roommate either. We don't have many common interests, but we get along just fine. I just have to be the responsible one...but I'm more than used to that. It's surprisingly easy to be responsible if your mom isn't yelling at you for not being responsible. Funny how that works...

Anyways, no guarantees about consistent updates from this point on, but since I've introduced a new human character, that means two full backstories and an EGO drawing next, so I might have gotten the ball rolling. I might conveniently get a lot of work again soon, but I'll try to get it out of the way to free up time.
